How Atlanta Magazine Selects Its Top Doctors
Atlanta Magazine compiles the
list through a peer-review survey in which physicians are asked which doctors
they would trust with their own families' care. Independent researchers
then review the nominations before publishing the list. Because the selection
comes from fellow physicians rather than advertising, many patients use the
list as one reference point when choosing a specialist.

Dr. Marc Greenstein, DO
Dr. Marc Greenstein
is a urologist and urological surgeon who serves as director of the Sandy
Springs Surgery Center and takes part in Advanced Urology's physician
governance. He earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of
Osteopathic Medicine and completed his urology residency at Albert Einstein
Medical Center in Philadelphia. He practiced urology in New Jersey for 15 years
before joining Advanced Urology in 2018.
The 2026 list marks Dr.
Greenstein's third consecutive year as an Atlanta Magazine Top Doctor,
following his recognition in 2024 and 2025.

Dr. Vik Sabarwal, MD
Dr. Vik Sabarwal is
a board-certified urologic surgeon and director of the Lawrenceville Surgery
Center. He completed his undergraduate and medical education through a combined
program at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine (Medical College
of Virginia), where he graduated with honors, and completed his urologic surgery residency at George Washington University in Washington, DC. His
residency training included time at the National Institutes of Health and the
National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Sabarwal has authored and
co-authored peer-reviewed journal articles, reviews, and book chapters on
subjects including prostate cancer, genital reconstruction, and overactive
bladder, and he has presented research at national and international medical
conferences. He has also performed charitable urologic surgery for patients in
Guyana.

Dr. Sabarwal's surgical practice
centers on complex kidney stone disease, urologic cancers, and minimally
invasive and robotic-assisted urologic surgery. Conditions he treats include:
