Samantha Smith is a board-certified Physician Assistant and a true Georgia peach, born and raised in Atlanta, GA. Samantha obtained her bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Georgia, where she focused on a National Institutes of Health (NIH) research grant for the study of neuromusculoskeletal health and treatment of children with cerebral palsy and other movement disorders. During this time, she also worked as a medical and surgical assistant in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Mercer University's PA Program, where she served as the vice president for the Christian Medical and Dental Association. Samantha is a MAP International Health Fellow, enabling her to practice medicine and serve those without access to healthcare in Kenya, Africa. Samantha completed urologic clinical rotations at Tampa General Hospital and Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. She is passionate about serving her local community and delivering quality patient care in both clinical and surgical settings.
Outside of work, Samantha is a Georgia Bulldog at heart, enjoys a great restaurant spot, and values spending time with her family and golden doodle Winnie.
