Treatments and Surgery
In many cases, varicocele doesn’t have to be treated. However, if it causes pain and discomfort, infertility and testicular atrophy, you may want to consider surgical procedures to address them.
Since this condition can lead to fertility issues or adversely affect the proper testicular functioning, the earlier the patient begins the treatment, the higher the chances of enhancing sperm production. Moreover, using a tight underwear or jockstrap can decrease pain because it provides support.
